Bug Splattered Windshield

This is heading west on Quincy (from the back way) towards the intersection of Rouse and Quincy. Most mornings I'd be going north (like the red car) through the intersection. It's a 4-way stop sign and was my biggest issue during morning rush hour. A traffic jam could occur when everybody sitting at the 4-way stop sign were all trying to be nicer than everybody else and nobody would move... seriously. Luckily Rouse is a 4-lane street which usually made the odds of getting through much better.

The railroad crossing right before the street for the apartment complex. The trains tried to stay out of town during morning and evening rush hour (they would stop right next to the apartment complex in the morning). The train tracks crossed several major streets and I remember at least 1 morning where the train was supposed to make it through town before rush hour, but broke down stretched clear across town. As the south end of town was cut off from the north end of town I spent 30 or 40 minutes trying to find a street that wasn't blocked so I could get to work.

Just east past the intersection of Centennial and Rouse on the north side of the street is Names and Numbers. They make phone books similar to the Yellow Pages.
